Summary: Sequel of Koutetsujou no Kabaneri. When the wave of the Industrial Revolution rushed all over the world and it was about to change from the early modern period to the modern period, an immortal monster suddenly appeared. Those called Kabane later have a heart covered with a steel film, and even those who bite will become Kabane. Kabane proliferated explosively and covered the whole world. In Hinomoto, an island country in the Far East, Ikoma and his friends boarded Kotetsujo, one of the steam locomotives, commonly known as Hayajiro, covered with thick armor.
